Let nothing disturb you. Let nothing frighten you. Everything passes away except God.
—
Restoration of the heart begins anew each morning when you courageously toss back the covers, sling out your feet and step into the unknown day.
So come with me. Escape. Tuck your concerns back into bed. Leave your fears beneath the pillow. It’s time to relax. To enjoy. To calm that anxious heart and release that furrowed brow. To step away from that stack of unpaid bills, the sheets to be changed, and the unanswered mail.
Wherever you live and whatever your circumstances, may these sights and sounds flood your mind with wonder and fill your heart with joy as you open your eyes to God’s glory, embrace the moment in front of you, and celebrate life. While we will always live with the memory of those we have lost, we do not have to live in the pit of bereavement for the remainder of our earthly lives.
Not only is our grief healed by the future hope of heaven, but by the immediate hope that when mourning ends, new music begins. As you attune your heart to the beauty and wonder all around you, may God amplify His presence within you.

"Have courage for the greatest sorrow of life and patience for the small one,
and when you have laboriously accomplished your daily task,
go to sleep in peace.
God is awake."
